Canva’s Bulk Create Tool is a Game Changer
I’ve had great success with Pinterest, so I’m happy to share my go-to tool. Feel free to quote me.
I use Canva for creating Pinterest pins. You might think it’s a beginner tool, but even though I’m proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, I still prefer Canva for this. It’s incredibly easy to use, with thousands of built-in templates (which I love), a huge library of flat icons, 2D logos, and even high quality stock footage.
Canva offers tons of options for customizing colors, which is crucial for creating vibrant pins that perform well on Pinterest’s algorithm. Dim colors just don’t cut it. Plus, it has a background remover, AI assist, and image generation.
But the real game changer for Pinterest (for me personally) is Canva’s bulk create tool. You can upload a spreadsheet and populate a ton of pins at once. I use this feature to quickly change the colors on all sides of my pins and generate a bunch of variations. For example, I used this strategy to scale the Pinterest page for SeeYourBabyAI to 1.2 million monthly views.
Canva’s also super affordable, especially with the yearly plan. I honestly recommend it to everyone for Pinterest pins. People often overthink it, but simple, eye catching pins created efficiently are what work best. It is important to be consistent on Pinterest and Canva will give you the numbers with ease.

Adobe Illustrator Ensures Consistent Branding
We find creating Pinterest pins both rewarding and challenging due to their unique 9:16 portrait aspect ratio.
For static pins, we use Adobe Illustrator. It allows us to create a reusable template where we can easily swap images and update text. This saves time and ensures consistency across our branding.
For those new to design, Desygner is an excellent alternative. It offers pre-made templates that are easy to customize, making it accessible for smaller teams or quick projects.
For video pins, we rely on Invideo, Wave.video and BigVu. Each of these tools excels at producing 9:16 aspect videos, allowing us to showcase our fragrances in an engaging and visually appealing way.
My advice is to start with tools that offer flexibility and focus on maintaining a consistent visual identity to strengthen your brand presence and identity on Pinterest.
