Engage Users with Tailored Quizzes
In an era of ubiquitous information, content faces steeper competition for a user’s attention than ever before. Getting users to spend time reading your content is no longer guaranteed; it’s a challenge. Leading with a question is a tried-and-true way of generating interest, but it may no longer be as effective as it once was, and it is not suitable for each platform where your content appears. Interactive content, like quizzes, engages the user at a more critical level by piquing their interest, tapping into their natural curiosity, and asking them to stop, think, and decide.
Quizzes can also be a great way of repurposing content to make it feel fresh. Instead of running the same article link in your newsletter, provide the quick bits of information that don’t require much reading time. A fact is a lot easier to share with friends than a summary of an in-depth article. Presenting the main points in an interactive way makes it easier for your users to organically share that information with their networks.
Figure out what matters to your audience and tailor your approach from there. Do they want to be right? A quiz can give that sense of accomplishment. Do they just want to be part of the conversation? In this case, a poll or question prompt will be more engaging. Use the results of this interactive content to refine your overall strategy. A quiz can tell you where there are gaps in comprehension of your messages, while polls provide more insight about user preferences and desires. When you get users to respond, make use of the subtleties of how they engage and how they react. This will keep your finger on the pulse.

Enhance Shopping with Discount Wheels
Our company uses interactive content on our website to engage with customers and enhance their shopping experience. One of the ways we do that is by offering a discount wheel. After a customer has been scrolling on our homepage for about 20 seconds, a pop-up wheel appears on their screen. The wheel is filled with different discounts and opportunities, such as free shipping, 15% off, 10% off on the order, free cleaning kits, and more. This gives the customer a chance to interact with us and take advantage of these offers.
However, to spin the wheel, customers need to provide their email addresses. Although this may seem like an additional step, it is necessary to complete the order in the end. We have noticed that many customers enjoy this opportunity, and even those who are not logged into their accounts can still receive the wheel after a period of inactivity.
We believe that this is an excellent way to encourage customer engagement and motivate them to purchase items with discounts. Through this approach, we have seen quicker purchase decisions, especially when the offers on the wheel are appealing. We are considering implementing this content again once our site is updated.

Calculate Engagement with Legal Funding Tool
We developed a legal-funding calculator for the Uplift Legal Funding website. This calculator allows potential clients to input various parameters related to their legal situation, such as case type, estimated settlement amount, and duration. The calculator then provides an estimate of the potential funding they could receive.
Using it, website visitors are actively involved in exploring their options and gaining valuable insights into their financial possibilities. It helped to increase user engagement and provide a personalized experience that can lead to higher conversion rates and a stronger connection with the website’s services.

Drive Engagement with Tech Timeline Module
As the CEO of a flourishing tech firm, I drove user engagement on our website by launching a “Tech Timeline” interactive module. This was not a run-of-the-mill timeline; rather, it was part quiz, part prediction activity that enabled users to track the evolution of different tech trends and predict their trajectory. By actively participating, users could earn points and redeem them for early-bird offers or unique digital gifts. This strategy produced a new layer of interactivity on our site, resulting in enhanced user participation and making them feel valued, ultimately improving engagement.

Boost Activity with Interactive Surveys
I mostly use interactive surveys to boost website user engagement for the clients I am working for, and even for my own firm as well. I would like to keep these surveys as straightforward and easy to complete as possible. I regularly ask people about their preferences, passions, or thoughts on the goods or services that my clients offer. For instance, if I were working for a clothing firm, I might create a survey asking respondents about their favorite styles of clothes or fashion trends.
I’ve discovered that by making surveys simple and interesting, our users are more inclined to respond, which boosts website activity. This encourages users to stay on our website longer and provides us with valuable information about client preferences.
