Google Optimize Boosts Conversion Rates
I’ve found Google Optimize to be incredibly helpful for our pricing tests, especially since it integrates seamlessly with our existing Google Analytics setup. Last month, we ran a test comparing three different pricing tiers for our SEO packages, and the insights helped us boost conversion rates by 23%. The best part is that it’s free to start with, making it perfect for small businesses who want to dip their toes into A/B testing without a huge investment.

Optimizely Provides Detailed Pricing Insights
I highly recommend experimenting with different pricing strategies using Optimizely. It’s robust, versatile, and designed for businesses that want to dig deeper into how changes impact user behavior and conversion rates. Optimizely allows you to test pricing variations—such as different price points, discount structures, or subscription tiers—on specific audience segments while providing detailed insights into how these changes affect your bottom line.
What sets Optimizely apart is its ability to handle more advanced testing scenarios, such as multivariate tests or personalized pricing experiments. For instance, we used Optimizely to test two pricing strategies for a client: one offering a flat discount and another bundling products at a reduced rate. The tool not only revealed which approach drove higher conversions but also showed us which demographic segments responded best to each strategy. This level of detail was instrumental in refining the client’s pricing model and maximizing revenue.
For those just starting with pricing experiments, Google Optimize can also be a great, accessible option. While it’s not as advanced as Optimizely, it’s perfect for basic A/B testing like comparing a standard price against a discounted one or testing whether free shipping boosts conversions. Plus, its seamless integration with Google Analytics makes it easy to track results and draw actionable insights.
Ultimately, the key to successful pricing tests is starting with clear goals—whether it’s increasing revenue, improving customer acquisition, or boosting retention—and selecting a tool that aligns with the complexity of your experiments. Optimizely is my go-to for more nuanced testing, but Google Optimize offers a fantastic entry point for simpler experiments. Both can provide game-changing insights when used thoughtfully.

VWO Simplifies Cross-Domain Tracking
We’ve used quite a few of them in the past and one that I like and tend to use across our different projects is VWO. They recently introduced a free plan, so it should be easier for folks with small budgets to get started. There are a few reasons why I like VWO. One of the main ones is that it’s incredibly easy to track things across domains. All you need to do is have access to the domain and you can drop a snippet of code there. Tracking has started.
Another reason I like it is that you have many options for your testing. You can create two different pages or you can use its visual editor to make changes right in the browser. It’ll take care of it. For pricing, we tend to create separate pages and flows.
Now, here’s the best part. You can track form submissions without doing anything special. Just drop the universal code and indicate that the conversion action is a form submission. As long as your forms follow best practices, VWO will be able to pick up the action without issue.
We have a subscription service that lives on a subdomain. Once they click a plan, they’re taken to the registration page and need to submit their information. Once they’ve finished registering (confirming their email), we count it as a successful registration. Across multiple projects, this has proven to be the fastest and most accurate way for us to test different pricing and track it properly.

ConvertKit Enhances Bundle Pricing
Being a Shopify optimization specialist, I’ve found ConvertKit particularly useful for my clients because it lets us test pricing variations while tracking customer behavior through Zoho CRM integration. Just last week, we helped a client test different bundle pricing strategies, which led to a 17% increase in average order value simply by adjusting how we presented their product combinations.

Price Intelligently Focuses on Value-Based Pricing
We’ve been using Price Intelligently to A/B test different pricing strategies, and it’s been a game-changer. What sets it apart is its focus on value-based pricing. It’s not just about finding the price point that generates the most revenue; it’s about understanding the perceived value of your product or service and aligning your pricing accordingly.
Price Intelligently provides the tools and data we need to experiment with different pricing models, analyze customer feedback, and ultimately, find the pricing sweet spot that maximizes both revenue and customer satisfaction. It’s not just a software; it’s a pricing strategy partner that helps us make data-driven decisions and optimize our pricing for long-term success.

Pardot Increases Booking Rates
In our trade show business, I rely on Pardot’s A/B testing tools to optimize our exhibit package pricing and maximize conversions. Just last quarter, we tested different pricing bundles for our 10×10 booth packages, which revealed that offering a three-tiered pricing structure with clear value distinctions increased our booking rate significantly. I particularly appreciate how Pardot integrates with our CRM, allowing us to track not just immediate conversions but also long-term customer value across different price points.

Relevic Simplifies Pricing Tests
One of the good A/B testing software applications for experimentation with various pricing strategies is Relevic. The reason I prefer Relevic is that it helps make the pricing test less complicated by avoiding the requirement of any technical knowledge or coding, thereby making it accessible to even non-tech-savvy users. The company can segment its audience properly so that different customer groups may be targeted based on unique price sensitivities. This is important for determining precise insights into how different pricing points affect purchasing behavior and revenue.
Moreover, Relevic offers complete statistical analysis, allowing users to base their decisions on real data instead of assumptions. Focusing on data-driven insights ensures that pricing strategies are optimized to maximize revenue without harming customer satisfaction.
