Optimization needs to happen in the entire journey/funnel of your partner program. So when you look at tools you will need different (automation) tools to get the most out of your program, and which allow you to optimize things.

1. Recruitment – For recruitment we use SEMrush to find competitor affiliate backlinks. It will allow you to filter the affiliates based on the data Domain Authority and other relevant metrics, allowing you to optimize the recruitment only for good potential affiliates.

We also use Respona for affiliate recruitment. They will help you to find unlinked mentions of your brands, listicle articles you aren’t in yet, or any other collaboration potentials. The good thing with this tool is they help you to find contacts behind a URL and run the email campaigns for you. They help you to optimize the entire partner recruitment.

2. Onboarding & Activation – When you recruit your affiliates and they join your affiliate program, you want to get them to start promoting you. Many businesses already run email sequences on new clients, so why not use these tools to also onboard affiliates? When setting up an affiliate program with our platform, you can push affiliate data to your favorite tools (CRM, Marketing Automation, etc.), which will help you to trigger the onboarding sequences easily.
