At larger companies, you often do one specific task all day or work in one software all day. In smaller organizations, like the one I currently work in, I manage the email marketing, SMS, website updates, and when it came time to migrate platforms from Shopify to BigCommerce, I was in charge of that. 

When TikTok Shops began getting hot, I was the one setting that up. Just having digital proficiency, as well as being a problem-solver, is very important, as these are things that nobody intuitively knows, but by being digitally proficient, they are things which you can teach yourself or pick up relatively easily.
