However, what I have found can improve your engagement rates even more is text within the reel. It also ensures that everyone can understand the message being conveyed, so there is also less confusion and a deeper understanding.
Text can be used to provide instructions, tips, or tutorials within the reel itself, which I have found makes it easier for your audience to understand complex concepts or follow step-by-step guides without having to rely solely on audio.
And ultimately, text overlays on Reels serve as captions or titles that grab viewers’ attention while scrolling through their feed. Bold, colorful, or creatively designed text can attract users to stop and watch the reel, versus simply having a textless video!
